This is 2 years after Ghadaffi was murdered and Libya was ‘liberated’ by Nato. Now they are storming government buildings again, demanding that lawmakers resign. Rebel groups have remained in control of major parts of this country since Nato intervened. Libya has not liberated itself into freedom of any sort. Sharia law still rules. Christians are still told ‘renounce Christianity or die.’ A few days ago, an Islamist group in Libya executed 7 Egyptian Christians! (More) The people are subjected to a fierce brand of Islamic rule and sharia law. So this is better?
Two members of Libya’s interim parliament were shot and wounded by protesters who stormed the General National Congress (GNC) in downtown Tripoli on Sunday, officials and witnesses said, according to Al-Jazeera. “Two (GNC) members were hit by bullets when they tried to leave the venue in their cars,” Nuri Abu Sahmein, the parliament speaker, was quoted in the report as having said. He blamed “armed protesters” for the shooting. Dozens of angry protesters entered the GNC, with some of them rampaging through the building, witnesses said. This is the new normal it appears. Same with Egypt. Obama and the west encouraged the protests in Egypt that led to the overthrow of Mubarak and his government, and then catapaulted the Muslim Brotherhood into power, with the same brand of Islamic rule and sharia law witnessed in Libya, and other middle eastern countries like Iran. The people rose up again, this time with condemnation from obama and the west, but rose up just the same, to depose the muslim brotherhood. It is some better, for the Christians, but still they face danger. In Syria the west encouraged, trained and funded rebels to fight and depose Assad. Russia is backing Assad, you see Russia was and still is appalled at what Nato did in Libya and said never again. The same is happening in Ukraine. The protests have led to deposing government now left with a vacuum and Russia is threatening to restore order amid threats from the West. It’s a vicious cycle. I wonder what Britain, or even the US would do if the people all of a sudden stormed government buildings demanding that the current officers resign? At any rate this cycle of violence for struggle for power and Islamic rule, is not about democracy. Iron and clay doesn’t mix. It will not stand, just as Daniel prophesied. The west is finding out that the very allagator they saved and fed turned and has bitten them viciously. Look at the attack in Benghazi. Look at Syria, look at Iran. The west will not control this. Only God. You know they say hind sight is 50/50. But I’m not so sure. The world was blinded when obama entered the world scene, watch this video from March of 2011, and given the events that unfolded after this was made I find it utterly shocking that this is still happening in other countries, and the world it seems is beginning to wake up, but American’s still sleep.
Pray for our Christian Brothers and Sisters in Libya. Isn’t it becoming obvious that Christians are insignificant to the west, it’s becoming increasingly obvious that the west is viewing Christians as ‘collateral damage.’ This explains why the deathly silence on their persecution in these countries, as they wreak havoc to carve up a new center of power for Islam.
