11 small earthquakes hit the Silicon Valley region this week, but none that were big enough for residents to feel.

An earthquake big enough to feel shook the Richter scale this week.

Out of 11 small earthquakes around Silicon Valley this week, the largest was a magnitude 1.6 that hit 5 miles outside of East Foothills, according to data gathered by the U.S. Geological Survey.

Generally, earthquakes need to break the 2.0-mark on the scale to be felt far from the epicenter.
